Popsicles, Tricycles and Naptime

Hannah's new thing is to pretend that she's still tired when I go in to get her up from her nap so that she can play in her bed...because she knows that she only gets her paci and blankies in bed. She wants Alice Anne to get in bed and play with her. They always have fun playing, laughing and dancing on the "hop pink bed"...it's really cute!

We had fun outside this afternoon with Hannah on her tricycle and Alice Anne in the wagon. Afterwards, we enjoyed popsicles. Alice Anne didn't know what to think of it!!!

More Spring Break Fun!

We've had another fun day...what a great week for Spring Break!

Hortencia was here this morning, so Hannah and I went on a date to Starbucks while Alice Anne napped. She thought she was so big sitting there sipping her hot cocoa.

Then, we had a great idea to meet Mary Alden at the zoo after Alice Anne's nap...us and the rest of Dallas!! They were directing people to the overflow parking-it was a madhouse, so we decided real fast to go on to something else. We stopped off at "Old McDonald's" as Hannah calls it for some lunch to take to the park for yet another picnic. The girls could have cared less that we weren't at the zoo. They had fun just being outside and running around.

Happy St. Patrick's Day

Today we had picture perfect weather and we spent as much of it as possible outside. We met Milam and Molly at our favorite park this morning for a picnic and lots of playtime. The swans were beautiful and fun to feed until one attacked sweet Molly...a vicious attack that I'm sure will leave the kiddos scared of swans for a while!!

We came home from the park just in time for naps and then headed back out to our neighborhood park or "daddy's park" as Hannah calls it. It's the park that Brett takes Hannah to every Saturday morning and Hannah made sure to let me know that I wasn't doing the horse's, monkey bars, slide, etc. like daddy does...I thought it was so sweet because I know how special their park time is and how much Hannah and daddy both love it! And, I'll be the 1st to admit that I'm not nearly as fun at the park as daddy is!!!

We went straight from the park to meet Katy, David and Ava for a St. Patrick's Day dinner. The girls had so much fun and we all laugh at Alice Anne every time because she has SO much fun just watching and laughing at the "big" girls. She wants to be big and play with them so bad!! And she adores Ava and thinks she is the funniest little girl--other than Hannah!!

What do you think about the bow?! Can she pull it off? Promise, I'm not that bad...it's just Hannah's!

Bye, Mommy, Daddy & Alice Anne

We were all sitting in the den this afternoon playing and having fun. Out of the blue, Hannah pops up and runs to the front door and this is how the conversation went...

Hannah: "BYE, Mommy, Daddy & Alice Anne!"

Mommy: "Hannah, where are you going?"

Hannah: "Over to that house" (pointing to the house across the street)

Daddy: "We're going to miss you Hannah. When are you going to come home?"

Hannah: (after thinking real hard), "In 30 days"

Mommy: "30 Days!! That's a long time! You're going to get hungry. What are you going to eat?"

Hannah: "My (I) go to the grocery store and get cookie."

Mommy: "OK, come give us kisses before you leave." (she came back in the den and gave all 3 of us a kiss and went back to the door)

Hannah: (trying really hard to unlock the door) "Mommy, HELP!"

Mommy: "Hannah, what's wrong?"
Hannah: "I lock my (me) in"

Mommy: "I guess you'll have to just stay home"

Hannah: (looking out the window) "I'm sorry other house!"

I just got these pictures from my mom and I think they are so cute! These are from a while back when Hannah stayed in Waco for a few days with Jammy and Papa after Christmas. She loves her visits to Waco!!!
