San Antonio

Hannah has been dying to go on an airplane ride. So, Saturday we flew to San Antonio. My parents came and stayed with Alice Anne, so she wouldn't have to miss all of her naps. Thanks mom and dad!! The day started out strange...Hannah started screaming up in her room around 5:30 Saturday morning. I think she had been crying off and on all night and must not have slept much. When she got up she was SOOO fussy! Brett and I both said that we had NEVER seen her like that-even on her worst day. We were scheduled for the 9:00 flight and we went back and forth on whether we should stay or go ahead and go. So, we decided to put her down at 7:45 and see if she'd take a nap and we'd take a later flight. She slept for 2 hours and woke up a new girl. We got on the 11:00 flight and were on our way. Hannah loved the airplane! She looked out the window a lot, read books and was excited that she got a lollipop at take-off. We went straight to the zoo, took the train ride and then walked around for about 3 hours. She really liked the zoo. Hannah was out as soon as we got in the car so we drove around for about 30 minutes until she woke up. Then we went and waked along the riverwalk and stopped for guacamole and to feed the ducks. We went to a great restaurant for dinner and Hannah had a BLAST!!! For those of you that don't know, she loves singing "Happy Birthday" all the time regardless if it's your birthday or not. So, we had them come sing Happy Birthday to her and they put a big sombrero on her. The balloon guy came around to our table and made Hannah a balloon hat which she loved!! She wasn't so sure about the hotel...she wanted to go home and go to bed. But, we finally got her to sleep after lots of silly play and jumping on the bed. We had a good flight home this morning and we were all glad to get home and see sick, but sweet little Alice Anne. We hope the sweet little baby gets to feeling better real fast!!!
Lots of pictures...
